The Mahogany Run® Golf Course Pro Shop has been named one of the top 100 in the world by Golf World Magazine.

The Mahogany Run Golf Course Pro Shop beat out several thousand public and private course pro shops as well as off-course golf shops from around the world to make Golf World’s 2008 list of 100 Best Golf Shops.

In its 23rd year, the prestigious list recognizes golf shops that demonstrate innovation, generate top revenue and execute exceptional promotions and service levels.

The 2008 list, which was released in January, also includes some of the most recognized names in the golf shop industry including Medinah, Bay Hill, Bighorn, Castle Pines and The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island.

The 1,100 square-foot Pro Shop offers resort sportswear lines such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ashworth, Oxford, Monterey Club, Bette & Court, EPPRO and Bugatchi. Other top-name brands include Titleist, Pinnacle, Top Flight and Adidas. The Pro Shop also carries more than one hundred complete new sets of left-and right-handed, graphite and steel shafted Callaway and Cobra golf club rentals for men and women.

Successful promotional ideas helped boost The Mahogany Run Golf Course Pro Shop’s sales to nearly $600,000 in 2007.
