A group of Ginn sur Mer employees were recently certified in a special welding technique necessary for the irrigation systems that will be needed for the two championship golf courses, as well as other landscaping at the now under construction Ginn sur Mer Resort in West End on Grand Bahama Island.
These four employees will be able to train additional welders who will be brought on to help install the 200,000 linear feet of pipe that will be used to keep the courses (designed by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer), and the grounds, up to the standards that Ginn Resorts has set.
